14 Mountaineers to Ho Tricolor at Raipur’s Gairlata Peak

Raipur: In an endeavor to foster unity and patriotism, a team of 14 prominent mountaineers from various corners of India will convene to ho the national flag at Gairlata Peak in Raipur, the highest point in Chhattisgarh, standing at a considerable height of 1225 meters. This significant event, aptly named ‘Har Shikhar Tiranga Abhiyan’, is slated for September 6, bringing together experienced climbers to foster unity and patriotism.
Spearheading this patriotic expedition is Colonel Ranveer Singh Jamwal SM, the dinguished Director of NIMAS, who has a remarkable hory of climbing Mount Everest three times, a feat which has garnered him several National Adventure Awards. His leadership is expected to guide the team towards a successful summit.
Complementing Colonel Jamwal’s efforts is Dr. Namrata Singh from Bhilai, a woman of remarkable resilience and determination. Dr. Singh is not just an avid traveler, having covered 80,000 km twice on her motorcycle across the vast Indian landscape, but also a fervent advocate for women’s health. She has dedicated herself to raising awareness about breast and cervical cancer among women in both urban and rural areas, conducting over 200 seminars nationwide. Her commitment to social well-being is a testament to the spirit of service that characterizes this expedition.
The state government, recognizing the national importance of this campaign, has pledged its unwavering support. As the team prepares to ascend Gaurlata Peak, their journey stands as a symbol of unity, resilience, and the spirit of service, echoing the lofty ideals that the Indian national flag represents.
