CG Aims to Procure 110 LMT Paddy this Kharif Season

Raipur: Preparations for paddy procurement in Chhattisgarh are in full swing as the procurement begins from November 1st. The state agricultural dept this year aim to procure 110 LMT of paddy from farmers at MSP. Gunny bad production and dribution on large scale has also begun. Nodal officers are being appointed to prevent illegal arrival of paddy in paddy procurement centers and to identify sensitive procurement centers.
As the regeration for selling paddy has already commenced, 60,878 new farmers have joined the l. With this the total number of farmers regered rose to 24,620,00. The regration for this season will be open until October 31st.
In the Kharif marketing year 2022-23, the maximum limit for procurement of paddy from farmers on support price has been fixed at 15 quintals per acre.
