Horrific accident in Ahmedabad: Jaguar car ran over 25 people in the middle of the city, 9 died
AHMEDABAD. A Jaguar car ran over more than 25 people in Gujarat’s Ahmedabad late on Wednesday night. 9 people died and more than 15 were injured in this accident. The dead include police constables and home guards. The collision was so strong that people fell more than 30 feet away. The incident took place on the ISKCON bridge.
According to information, a car on the overbridge collided with a dumper going in front of it from behind. A crowd of people had gathered on the spot to watch the accident, when a Jaguar coming at a speed of 160 km per hour from Karnavati Club crushed the crowd. This car trampled the people present there.
Many people died on the spot
It is being told that in this incident, 6 people have died on the spot, while others have been taken to Sola Civil for treatment. The driver of the Jaguar was also seriously injured in the accident. According to eyewitnesses, the impact of the collision was so strong that some people fell on the bonnet. Police said that there were two boys and a girl in the Jaguar. More information about them has not been revealed yet. Angry people present at the spot also thrashed them.
