Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel Attributes Chandrayaan-3 Success to Nehru’s Vision

Raipur: As Chandrayaan 3 gets ready to make its mark in the hory of space exploration landing on the part of Moon, Bhupesh Baghel, Chief Miner of Chhattisgarh, has expressed his admiration for India’s first Prime Miner, Jawaharlal Nehru and his forward-thinking vision.
Under Nehru’s leadership, the Indian National Committee for Space Research (INCOSPAR) was established in 1962, which later paved the way for forming the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) responsible for Chandrayaan 3’s mission. This remarkable endeavour sets India on course to join a group of nations— the United States, Russia and China—who have successfully achieved lunar landings. What dinguishes India’s mission is its aspiration to explore and touch down at the pole—a region yet untouched any other country.
The significant moment of this mission is scheduled for August 23 at precisely 6;04 PM. At this juncture, Chandrayaan 3s Lander Module—comprising the Vikram lander and Pragyan rover—is poised to perform a touchdown near the southernmost region of the Moon.
Chief Miner Baghel applauds this impending milestone as groundbreaking for India. He commends the unwavering dedication and hard work exhibited our nation’s community. “The vision set forth Nehru Ji continues to resonate on a scale “, he remarked, beautifully highlighting India’s legacy, in space. With anticipation, he extended his wishes to the brilliant individuals leading this important mission.
