Modi’s step motherly attitude for C’garh: Congress
The Congress on Wednesday accused the Modi government of discriminating against states on political lines and adapting a step motherly attitude towards Congress-ruled Chhattisgarh while providing facilities to contain Covid-19.
The party’s Communication Wing head Sushil Anand Shukla said the Modi government had provided five genome sequencing labs to BJP-ruled Madhya Pradesh but not a single lab to Chhattisgarh, he said.
Earlier too it discriminated against Chhattisgarh on the issue of providing gunny sacks for paddy procurement, taking rice in Central pool, giving Covid-19 vaccine and in sharing the state’s share of revenue, he said.
By doing so, the Modi government wants the emerging Chhattisgarh model of governance to be defamed. It is indirectly putting the Chhattisgarh people in danger, he said.
