Make Covid-19 Cess spending public: BJP

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday asked the Chhattisgarh government to make public how it spent Rs1,000 crore charged as cess under the Covid-19 pandemic head.

Former Health Minister Ajay Chandrakar said the money was to be spent on improving health infrastructure and medical facilities.

The details of the spending must be made public, he said.
