Tribal delegation thanks CM

A delegation of Sarva Adivasi Samaj under the leadership of Chhattisgarh Deputy Speaker Manoj Mandavi called on Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel here on Tuesday and thanked him for his assistance in establishing and beautifying Devgudis.

The delegation told the Chief Minister that the Veer Mela Organizing Committee has received Rs 65 lakh to develop Devgudi in Rajarao plateau and to establish a statue of Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh and a Budhadev memorial.

For this, the delegation expressed its gratitude to Baghel.

On the occasion of the martyrdom of freedom fighter Veer Narayan Singh, Baghel had earlier announced a grant of Rs 65 lakhs for various works in December last year.
