Raipur: In a major scam reported in Bilaspur drict in Chhattisgarh, the provident fund account of 6 police officials has been intentionally mismanaged the General Provident Fund Branch Head. A significant breach in the documentation of PF Fund was reported to the SSP. On receiving a complaint, the Branch Head has been sacked with immediate effect and further investigation is on.

It is being reported that the Police officials who came to withdraw their funds from the PF account are involved in this scam and major amounts have been transferred to their respective accounts. Funds under 6 different contexts have been reportedly paid in this scam.

GPF Branch Head of SP Office has been identified as the prime accused, sources said. As per initial investigation, a difference has surfaced between the amounts regered and the payments made. Further investigation is being carried out under the guidance of the DGP.
