‘Baghel govt insensitive towards people’s plight’
Chhattisgarh former Chief Minister and BJP leader Raman Singh on Sunday charged the Baghel government with insensitivity towards the people and their plight.
People have taken to the streets and are demonstrating against the policies of the government and is this the ‘Chhattisgarh model’, he asked.
“There is a tremendous resentment among the people of Chhattisgarh against the Baghel government and various sections are protesting,” he said.
The Baghel government snatched PM Awas from around 8 lakh poor people in the state, it snatched work from 20,000 self-help group, and now it is ready to oust the 60,000 weavers of societies who are preparing uniforms for students in government schools, he said.
At the same time, protests by teachers, aspirants of Chhattisgarh Police and Rasoiyas of ‘Mid-Day Meal’ are going on, he said.
