Bhupesh Baghel Inaugurates National Tribal Festival

RAIPUR: CM Bhupesh Baghel in Raipur on Tuesday inaugurated the National Tribal festival that coincides with the state’ 23rd foundation day. The event was also attended Culture Miner Amarjeet Bhagat and CM Baghel also released the coffee table book of the National Tribal Dance Festival 2021.
Addressing the huge gathering at the inauguration of Rajyotsav and the National Tribal Dance Festival, chief miner Bhupesh Baghel extended warm wishes to dancers from all states and foreign guests. The chief miner said that globally, tribal societies practice similar dance arts.
“Tribes always wish that all humanity should have equal rights in nature, and everyone should do their part in protecting nature and preserving primitive cultures is the goal of the National Tribal Dance Festival. Several efforts have been made to preserve Chhattisgarh’s culture. Today is a moment of self-pride for us,” said the chief miner.
The opening day saw performances from ten countries namely Mozambique, Egypt, Mongolia, Indonesia, Russia, New Zealand, Rwanda, and Maldives along with participants from 28 states and 7 territories. This festival brings together as many as 1500 arts from around the world. The festival aims to uphold tribal traditions and spread awareness of primitive cultures across the globe.
