BJP avoiding discussions: Cong
The Congress on Wednesday accused the BJP of skipping discussions in the Chhattisgarh Assembly and blamed it for its early adjournment.
In a statement, Sushil Anand Shukla of the Congress Communication wing said “the undemocratic character of the BJP forced the Chhattisgarh Assembly session to be adjourned sine die well before the scheduled time”.
It was a five-day session and every minute the House must have discussed about the interests of 2.5 crore population, Shukla said.
It was unfortunate that creating hurdle on normal proceedings was the aim of BJP legislators and they created ruckus in the Assembly, he said.
The BJP proves that wasting the time of the House was the role of an effective opposition, he added.
