BJP holds State Wide Protests Over Udaipur Murder
BJP and Vishwa Hindu Parishad hold protests in state.Rallies called under leadership of BJP leaders Srichand Sundrani, and Sanjay Srivastava.Congress criticizes the protests.
Chhattisgarh: The Udaipur murder has sparked nationwide protests. The Bharatiya Janata Party and the Vishwa Hindu Parishad have called protests in Chattisgarh.
Market in Raipur to Bilaspur, Kawardha, Mahasamund, Korea, Kanker, Rajnandgaon and other cities of the state, all staged a state wide protest. The supporters of the party held rallies under the leadership of BJP leaders Srichand Sundrani, and Sanjay Srivastava.
During the bandh, BJP workers demonstrated vigorously at Jai Stambh Chowk.
Meanwhile, Congress in the state has castigated the protests. Congress Communication Department President Sushil Anand Shukla said that the BJP is trying to incite the public and spread communal tensions.
