Celebrate the festival of colors together: Chief Minister
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has extended greetings and good wishes to the citizens of the state on the occasion of Holi, Rangpanchami and Bhagoria.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that these festivals are festivals of love, enthusiasm and brotherhood. Everyone is preparing to celebrate these festivals of colors with enthusiasm. We could not celebrate the festival for the last 2 years due to Covid pandemic. Now Covid is under control. The whole state is filled with joy and enthusiasm.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that the fragrance of mango bags has spread throughout the state. Colorful views are visible from the Palash trees. Wheat harvesting is going on. This year may also witness record production.
In his message Chief Minister Shri Chouhan mentioned the relief given to farmers and other sections on a large scale. Chief Minister Chouhan said that about Rs 1.75 lakh crore has been deposited in the accounts of farmers including Rs 7618 crore of crop insurance, food grain procurement, Pradhan Mantri Samman Nidhi and other relief funds.
Referring to the grant given, he said that the state government decided to give relief to the farmers and pay their interest after the previous government did not fulfill the promise of waiving the loan of Rs two lakhs of the farmers. Electricity bills of the Corona period have been postponed. Farmers and consumers will not be allowed to bear the burden of these bills. Dearness allowance has also been given to the employees. Children are going to school now. Offline exams are also being held.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that all sections will celebrate the festival with gaiety and enthusiasm. People will forget all their differences and celebrate. Chief Minister Chouhan has appealed to maintain decency while celebrating the festival. He said that trees should not be cut anywhere. Gau-kashth should be used instead of wood. Chief Minister Chouhan told that he himself will participate in the programme of Holika Dahan using gau-kashth.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that cleanliness survey is in progress. All citizens must keep their village and city clean. This is our responsibility. The pride day of the cities and villages should also be celebrated. Every person must contribute something for his village and city.
Chouhan urged citizens to support Prime Minister Shri Modi’s resolve to build Atmanirbhar Bharat. He said that Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh would also be built with the contribution of all citizens.
