CG Congress Leader Arrested With Maos

Bijapur: A Congress leader from Chhattisgarh has been arrested the Chhattisgarh Police along with two women Maos based on the information received from the police informer. The Congress leader is the General Secretary of the Bhopalpatnam Block Congress Committee of Bijapur drict.
Police caught the three accused while the Congress leader was taking the two women to Warangal in Telangana for treatment. Meanwhile, the police arrested all three near Hanamakonda. Official confirmation to the matter has yet to come.
Earlier on October 4, the Security Forces (SFs) had recovered five kilogram Improvised Explosive Device (IED) planted the Commun Party of India (CPI-Mao) during the search operation in the forests of Mankot in Tadoki area in kanker drict of Chhattisgarh. The state government has been trying hard to keep maos activities to its minimum. However, involvement of a Congress leader with Maos can also prove dangerous to the state.
