CG Procures Over 13 LMT Paddy At MSP

RAIPUR: CG on the 23rd day of the paddy procurement program procured around 1,30,098 MT of paddy from 38,492 regered farmers. Apart from this 23,666 MT of paddy was also procured from farmers who regered through online tokens. The latest procurement took the total paddy procurement in CG over 13.34 LMT. The state govt began procuring paddy at MSP on November 1st.
As of 24th November, as many as 50,283 tokens have been issued to the farmers through the online facility while 7265 tokens were issued through the Tunhar Haath Application.
Along with paddy procurement, paddy is also being lifted for custom milling. So far, more than 5 lakh tonnes of paddy have been lifted from the procurement centers across the state.
In the current Kharif Marketing season, nearly 25.92 lakh farmers have been regered in the state to sell paddy including 2.21 lakh new regrations. The state aims to procure around 110LMT paddy this season.
