Raipur: In view of the rising number cases and mortalities related to LSD in the neighboring states, the CG adminration has installed check points to keep a check on the entry of the cattle into the states.
Public relations officer on Tuesday said to have set up check posts in 18 dricts of the state to monitor the movement of cattle into Chattisgarh. He added that cattle fairs have been banned and cattle owners are being educated about the disease. So far, there has been no detection of the Lumpy Skin disease in Chhattisgarh.
In the previous month, the state animal husbandary dept put veterinary doctors on alert and monitor the health of cattle in areas under their jurisdiction.
