Chhattisgarh: Chief Miner Bhupesh Baghel Holds ‘Bhent-Mulakat’ Meeting with Youth

Ambikapur: A few days ago, in Ambikapur’s PG College Hockey Stadium, Chhattisgarh’s Chief Miner Bhupesh Baghel took the initiative to meet the youth of Surguja Division through the ‘Bhent-Mulakat’ program. The meeting aimed at unveiling various developmental initiatives tailored for the younger generation.
In a significant move, Baghel inaugurated an ambitious project: an indoor stadium in Ambikapur with an estimated cost of Rs 100 crore. Designed to cater to sports enthusiasts, this establishment is envisioned to be on par with the renowned indoor stadium in Raipur. Furthermore, addressing the educational needs of the differently-abled, he announced the foundation of a state-level residential college exclusively for hearing-impaired students. Previously, such students in the region only had schooling options available.

But the announcements didn’t end there. The Chief Miner went on to declare the establishment of government-affiliated B.Ed. colleges across every drict within the Surguja division. Adding to the region’s sports infrastructure, plans for a Wushu Sports Academy in Surajpur’s Drict Headquarters were unveiled. Additionally, the dricts of Manendragarh Chirmiri Bharatpur will soon see the construction of a law college.
The session was also interactive, with CM Baghel engaging with the young attendees and discussing various state-sponsored schemes and opportunities. One particularly touching moment came when Tripti Sahu, a student from the Government Nursing College, vocally expressed her gratitude. She chanted “Kaka Abhi Zinda Hai” in honour of CM Baghel, who had extended financial support for her education after the unfortunate demise of her father due to COVID-19.
