Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel Attends Swearing-in Ceremony of Sahu Samaj in Janjgir

Janjgir: The ceremonial event of Sahu Samaj’s oath-taking and felicitation took place in Birra village, Janjgir drict, on Thursday. Chief Miner Bhupesh Baghel graced the occasion and commended the endeavors aimed at fostering societal cohesion. Addressing the gathering, CM Baghel extended his congratulations to the officials of Sahu Samaj and praised their relentless efforts in uniting the community.
Acknowledging the exence of prevalent challenges within the sizeable Sahu society, CM Baghel stressed the need for emancipation from such issues. He emphasized the pivotal role of education in this process, emphasizing that through education and instilling respect for other communities, social and political development can be achieved. Baghel reaffirmed his government’s commitment to working in the interest of all communities, underscoring the significance of education and culture.
During the Sahu Samaj conference, Chief Miner Bhupesh Baghel announced several significant initiatives as gifts to the local populace. These include the establishment of an Atmanand English Medium School in Birra, the opening of a junior engineer electricity office in Birra, the construction of a bridge across the Hasdeo River, the development of a road from Dahida to Bamhnidih, and the construction of a social building.
CM Baghel also criticized the BJP, accusing them of misleading farmers with falsehoods. He countered their claims regarding paddy procurement at support prices, stating that his government had purchased 20 quintals of paddy compared to the previous adminration’s procurement of 10 quintals.
Home Miner Tamradhwaj Sahu joined the Chief Miner at the Sahu Samaj event, urging society members to eradicate prevalent ills and foster social harmony. He advised officials to refrain from arrogance, pride, and jealousy, and encouraged them to cultivate a culture of moral values among the younger generation. Miner Sahu emphasized the importance of adhering to societal norms, rules, and regulations, avoiding internal politics, and utilizing government schemes for social welfare.
Assembly Speaker Charan Das Mahant, in his address, highlighted the power of love, brotherhood, and harmony as unifying forces for society, rather than punishment and conflict. Mahant stressed the necessity of education, urging Sahu society parents to motivate their children to pursue knowledge. He also called upon all communities to unite under the Chief Miner’s vision of “Garhbo Nava Chhattisgarh” and actively contribute to the state’s progress.
Tahal Sahu, the state president of Sahu Samaj, warmly welcomed the Chief Miner and other esteemed guests at the event. Tahal Sahu emphasized the importance of keeping politics separate from society and urged Sahu community members in the drict to cease the practice of imposing penalties.
