Chief Minister greets the people of the state on Guru Purnima

Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel has extended his greetings and best wishes to the people of the state on Guru Purnima. The Chief Minister, in his message issued on the eve of Guru Purnima here today, has said that Guru has been given the highest place in Indian culture. There has been a tradition of celebrating Guru Purnima in India on the day of Ashadh Purnima, the incarnation day of Maharishi Ved Vyas, the author of Mahabharata and Vedas.
On this day respect and gratitude are expressed for the invaluable knowledge and guidance of the Gurus. Guru brings the light of knowledge by erasing the darkness of ignorance in life. The Chief Minister said that we should move forward by imbibing the invaluable education given by the Gurus in our lives.
