CM Bhupesh Baghel Writes Letter to PM Modi, Makes Specific Request

Raipur: In a letter directed to Prime Miner Narendra Modi, Chief Miner Mr Bhupesh Baghel has raised two requests regarding the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) in the state.
Firstly the Chief Miner has urged the Prime Miner to assign targets, for the remaining houses on the waiting l under PMAY in Madhya Pradesh. Currently, there is a number of 18,75,585 beneficiaries regered on the waiting l based on the Socio-Economic Caste Census 2011 (SECC 2011) conducted the Indian Government.
Secondly, Chief Miner Baghel has requested target allocations for 8 lakh 19 thousand 999 beneficiary families of Awas Plus in the state. This initiative aims to ensure that a substantial portion of the population can access suitable housing under this program.
In his letter, the Chief Miner emphasized that out of the approved l, an impressive 73.5% (8,63,567) of houses under this scheme have already been successfully completed. However addressing the remaining housing demands is crucial to fulfilling people’s aspirations and achieve PMAYs objectives.
The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is a housing initiative the Indian government with a goal of providing “Housing, for All” 2022. Chief Miner Baghels’ proactive stance, towards addressing the housing requirements in Madhya Pradesh and seeking assance, from the government showcases the states dedication to realizing this vision.
