Baghel mentioned that in the 15 years, certain aspects of Chhattisgarh’s culture and traditions were overlooked and not given recognition previous adminrations. He emphasized the significance of “Chhattisgarh Mahtari,” which symbolizes the state’s heritage.

Furthermore, Baghel raised concerns about how certain festivals like Teej in Chhattisgarh were not observed as holidays despite their importance to the local population. He also noted disregard for Karma Jayanti and World Tribal Day, which hold significance for tribal communities in the state.
In his message, Baghel committed to bringing changes and addressing these standing issues. He indicated that the era of neglect is coming to an end, suggesting that his adminration will prioritize the heritage and aspirations of the people of Chhattisgarh.
Additionally, CM Baghel expressed his excitement for the Teej festival—a time when traditional delicacies like Asan Mukti and Roti Pitha were prepared and enjoyed. He extended wishes for Tihar to both people from Jammu and those from Chhattisgarh.
