CM Hikes Dearness Allowance 6 per cent for State Employees
Dearness Allowance hiked from 22 per cent to 28 per cent.The demand was approved the CM on August 13th.HRA also to be considered, the CM said pressing the reporters.
Raipur: Chhattisgarh CM on Saturday increased the Dearness Allowance for State Govt employees, pensioners and family pensioners taking it to 28 per cent.
Prior to this employees were receiving pay of 22 per cent under the 7th pay commission and 174 per cent under the 6th Pay commission since May 2022, the notice on CMOs handle stated.
Following the revision, 6% and 15% hikes have been effected under the 7th and 6th Pay Commissions respectively, the statement said. The staff will get 28% and 189% DA from 1 August 2022.
Apart from this, CM also promised to consider the HRA under the 7th Pay commission. The working union protested demanding a DA of 34 per cent like the Central govt.
