Digitalization of AG office to facilitate legal services: CM
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Thursday said the digitalization of the Advocate General office will facilitate government departments in getting legal documents.
Baghel said this while virtually inaugurating the expansion work at the office of Advocate General located at the Bilaspur High Court premises.
The renovation of the office building has been done at a cost of Rs. 1.65 crore.
Advocate General of Chhattisgarh Satish Chandra Verma and Additional Advocate General Amrito Das were among those who joined the programme through video conferencing.
Baghel said that with the completion of this new construction, all concerned would be able to discharge their duties in a more systematic and convenient manner.
“Necessary arrangements are being made for the speedy and smooth functioning of the office as well as the digitization of the official work.”
Baghel pledged to provide all the facilities as needed for the Advocate General’s office in future as well.
