Ahead of the third round of talks, several leaders of the Indian opposition expressed confidence that they would prove to be a formidable opponent to the government. At least 63 representatives from 28 political parties will attend the Indian National Alliance for Inclusive Development (INDIA) meeting on August 31 and September 1 at the Grand Hyatt hotel in Mumbai.
Among the main items on the agenda of the meeting will be the selection of a logo for the alliance and the establishment of a committee to strengthen coordination among all member parties. The opposition coalition is also expected to discuss whether there should be an organizer and joint action timing for the 2024 election.
