Shashi Tharoor Suggests that the Opposition Bloc’s “BHARAT” Full Format is… 

Congress leader Shashi Tharoor today hit out at the government over the India-Bharat name dispute, saying the opposition bloc could call itself the “Alliance for a Better Tomorrow, Harmony and Responsible Progress (BHARAT)” and then maybe the ruling party could come calling . . it ends “An amazing game-changing name”.

His remarks came after President Droupadi Murmu sent invitations to the G20 dinner, describing his position as “President of Bharat” instead of the usual “President of India”. plans to abandon India and keep only Bharat as the country name.

In a message on X, Mr Tharoor said: “Of course we could call ourselves Alliance for Progress for a Better, Harmonious and Responsible Tomorrow (BHARAT). Then the ruling party could stop this pointless name-changing game.” The Congress is a member of the opposition Indian National Development Inclusive Alliance (INDIA).
