Singhdeo says he will remain in Congress, says AAP Contacted

Singh Deo clears air of joining AAP.Will not join BJP, have many conflicts said the health miner. AAP eyes Congress ruled Chhattisgarh for elections 2023.

Raipur: Responding to speculations of joining the Aam Admi Party, CG Health miner TS Singh Deo on Saturday confirmed that the AAP leaders did approach the miner, but reiterated that he had no thoughts of leaving the party.

AAP contacted me. I am openly saying that I have not met AAP  convener Arvind Kejriwal. I am in Congress and will and will continue to remain in Congress”, he said while talking to the media during a press conference.Also clearing speculations on joining the saffron party, the aspiring Chief Miner said, “ I am in Congress now and will always be, there is no question of joining BJP ever. I have many conflicts with the party, so I will never join.”

Singh Deo had been much in the political panorama after the two- and half-year chief minership issue was raised him after current CM Bhupesh Baghel completed half of his tenure.  

Buoyed a massive win in Punjab, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has now shifted focus to Chhattisgarh and decided to contest the Assembly polls of 2023 with full strength.
