The Living Dead: Dead People Found Procuring Ration in CG

RAIPUR: Several cases of ration being procured in the name of dead people have come to the fore in CGs Gariyaband drict. As per inputs, the ration is being procured from a ration shop in Bharabahli Panchayat.
The matter surfaced after a group of people submitted a written complaint to the Food and Civil Supplies department on Saturday. Acting swiftly the Food Miner ordered a probe engaging the SDM.
It is also reported that the same group of people had earlier approached the Panchayat about the fraud, but received no response. As per the complaint, families of 11 deceased members have been receiving rations every month.
In order to overcome such kind of fraud the food minry installed thumb impression devices to issue rations to the families.
