University Exams Going Online, Sec Higher Education Issues Notice

Deputy Secretary ,Higher Education issues notice to all universities to hold exams online.The notice came on instructions of CM Baghel.Students on Friday agitated, demanding exams to be held online.

Raipur: In a standoff with the students, the Deputy Secretary Dr Prem Sai Tekam, Higher Education has issued a notice stating the examination is to be held online. The order followed instructions given CM Baghel. The notice read- exams for the current academic session would be held online — an announcement that led to students playing with colours and taking out victory marches.

The issued order stated that the council held a meeting to discuss the pros and cons of opening all educational institutions in the state as the COVID curve declined.

Earlier on Friday, students along with the NSUI President agitated in all universities of the state demanding exams to be held online. President Neeraj Pandey met CM Baghel and appealed for the online examination.

Meanwhile, CM Baghel during his visit to Bematra announced that all universities would hold exams in an online format.
