Urban Adminration Issues Notice to Ensure Proper Festive Arrangements

Urban authorities issue directions to Collectors ahead of festive season.National Green Tribunal and State Government norms to be followed for Ganesh immersion.

Raipur: With the festive season on its heals, the Urban Adminration and Development Department on the instruction of CM Bhupesh Baghel has issued a notice to Collectors of all dricts to ensure necessary arrangements are done.

Authorities have given separate instructions for each festival and instructed teams to be deployed to maintain law and order. The instructions have been given in view of Teej, Ganesh Visarjan, Durga Puja, Pitru Moksha- Amavasya and other festivals.

For the festival of Ganesh Chaturti, it has to be made sure that the idol immersion is done as per National Green Tribunal and State Government norms. Moreover, construction of idols out of Plaster of Paris is also banned.

It should be noted that the second half of the year has several festivals spread across months and necessary rules should be followed to maintain peace.
