Watch: Jamaican sprinter Yohan Blake bowls bouncers with lightning speed
Jamaican sprinter Yohan Blake was seen bowling at brisk pace in a cricket match at Sabina Park in Jamaica on Sunday.
The superstar posted the video on his Twitter account.
In the video, Blake was seen bowling at a quick pace and rushing the batters with bouncers.
Blake, despite being one of the star sprinters, has often participated in cricket club matches. He once held ambitions to play for the West Indies and holds Indian stars such as V V S Laxman, Virender Sehwag and Rahul Dravid in high regard.
He also has been one of the active advocates in promoting West Indies cricket in recent times despite the board and the team being in turmoil.

The star sprinter has also acknowledged his admiration for Indian superstar Virat Kohli. “What I really love about Team India is that Virat Kohli doesn’t find any excuses. That’s what I really love about his captaincy, he took the blame for everything,” Blake said in the past when Kohli was leading the Indian Test side in a video uploaded on his social media handles.
Blake is the second-fastest man on the planet, he has run 100 metres in 9.69 seconds and 200 metres in 19.26 seconds. After being overshadowed at the London and Rio Olympics Usain Bolt, the more famous Jamaican, now, in the post-Bolt era, the 30-year-old Blake will attempt to win gold at the Tokyo Olympics while fending off American sprinter Chrian Coleman. At the 2011 World Championships, Blake, then 21, bagged a gold, becoming the youngest 100 metres world champion ever.
