Watch: Virat Kohli wears a bracelet gifted a young fan | Cricket News

Virat Kohli made the day of a young fan on the sidelines of India vs West Indies second ODI in Barbados, who made a hand-made bracelet for the for the former India captain.
In a video posted the BCCI, Kohli can the girl can be heard saying, “I have made a gift for you.”
Kohli replied, “Oh really!”

Then the young kid handed over the bracelet to Kohli, who without wasting any time wore it in front pf of the girls family.

He said: “It’s a family reunion. We love cricket. We are a family full off cricket lovers. This is the best time to be over here.”
“It was really kind of him to come over here, because my daughter did make him a bracelet and he was really nice… you know it brings tears to my eyes that he was so down to earth coming over here wearing the bracelet in front of us and taking pictures,” he added.

The girl also looked over the moon after giving the bracelet to Kohli. She said: “I was screaming Kohli. He came over and I gave him my bracelet that I made with my hands.”
Apart from Kohli, team Indian captain Rohit Sharma and middle-order batter Suryakumar Yadav also gave autographs and took selfies with the fan.

Both Kohli and Rohit were rested in the second ODI, in order to test the bench strength. India lost the second ODI six wickets.
India had a five-wicket win over the West Indies in the first match on Thursday.

The final ODI of the three-match series is on Tuesday at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad. The teams are also scheduled to play five T20 matches, starting Friday.

India won the preceding two-test series 1-0. The West Indies and India drew the second test at Queen’s Park Oval after the fifth day was washed out and India had an innings win in Dominica.
