Female ticket-checker collects over ₹1 crore in fines | Trending

Rosaline Arokia Mary recently received praise from the Minry of Railways after becoming the first female ticket checker to collect more than ₹1 crore in fines from travellers. She works as Southern Railway’s principal ticket inspector. The Minry of Railways took to their official Twitter handle to share an appreciative post about her achievement.

“Showing resolute commitment to her duties, Smt.Rosaline Arokia Mary, CTI (Chief Ticket Inspector) of @GMSRailway, becomes the first woman on the ticket-checking staff of Indian Railways to collect fines of Rs. 1.03 crore from irregular/non-ticketed travellers,” the department wrote and also shared pictures of during her duty hours.
